ഏവർക്കും നമസ്കാരം!
一部电影的价值,在于它留下的感觉。
I love watching movies a lot—it’s probably one of the few things I genuinely enjoy. I used to watch a lot of Hong Kong movies when I was young, thanks to Stephen Chow and Maggie Cheung. I still carry a deep affection for Hong Kong cinema and sincerely wish it could return to its former glory. Sadly, many recent films haven’t resonated with me the way the classics once did, so all I can do is rewatch them. Thanks to my poor memory (hopefully that’s normal lol—in this case, it’s a blessing), I’ve forgotten almost all the movies I watched when I was young. Right now, I just watch anything I find interesting, though I’m a little biased toward Asian films—especially Malayalam, Chinese, Tamil, Japanese, Indonesian, Persian, and so on.
A running log of films I’m watching from December 2025 onwards. Some are rewatches, mostly Hong Kong films.
Does anyone know the difference between "was" and "used to be"? Anyone?
"Was" means it has passed.
In fact, both of them mean that it has passed, but the difference is that "used to be" carries a sense of loss.
