About Me

Hey! I am Geo Jolly, an undergraduate computer science student. I spend a lot of time learning about Reinforcement Learning and Computer vision. I also enjoy creating models/agents to play some random video games. Outside of academics and research, I enjoy travelling, playing music, listening to classical piano pieces, reading manhwa(occasionally manga; I hate B/W comics), watching anime or (k/c)drama, and playing video games (genshin, league of legends, or terraria). Despite being terrible at Go, I really enjoy playing it. Feel free to reach out if you're up for a game of Go.
You can reach me via email. I'm always open to interesting conversations about anything.

Research Interests: Reinforcement Learning, Robotics, and Particle Physics.

Travel

I have been to 3 countries so far. India, because I was born there lmao. Ideally I would like to visit China, Norway, and South Korea within the next 5 years.

Videos

These are some of my favorite videos on the internet. Maybe you should check them out too.

  • He Escaped The Matrix

  • Music

I enjoy listening to almost all genres, languages, and styles of music, but I have a special place in my heart for piano pieces, especially those by Yiruma, as well as anime (Ghibli OSTs) and Kdrama OSTs. I find that I can simply listen to them when I am feeling low (definitely not most of the Kdrama OST, haha), and they never fail to uplift my mood. Here are some of my favorite pieces, listed in order of how much I love them, if not all of them.

πŸ”— River Flows In You Yiruma
    πŸ”— Forest au lait zmi
πŸ”— Spirited Away OST Ghibli Studio
πŸ”— Canon in D Pachelbel (Cover by Brooklyn Duo)
    πŸ”— Experience Ludovico Einaudi
    πŸ”— Kiss The Rain Yiruma
    πŸ”— Butterfly Waltz Brian Crain
πŸ”— Cornfield Chase Hans Zimmer (Interstellar)
    πŸ”— Moonlight Sonata Beethoven
    πŸ”— Una Mattina Ludovico Einaudi

You can just click on the links to listen to them on youtube music XD. This is not a permanent list, and I will keep updating it as I find more pieces that I love. You can also suggest some pieces to me if you want to. I would love to listen to them.
